License Terms

A concise summary of SaaS access, self-hosted license enforcement, renewal, revocation, and third-party notices.

01

SaaS Access

For managed SaaS customers, EvenTier grants access to the hosted product for the subscription term and plan purchased by the customer organization.

SaaS access is account-based and governed by the active subscription, customer agreement, and administrator role assignments.

02

Self-Hosted License

Customers with an enterprise self-hosting contract receive a signed EvenTier license file for the organization, plan, expiry, seat cap, optional environments, and optional instance fingerprint stated in the license claims.

Self-hosted licenses are verified locally with pinned public keys and do not require per-request phone-home checks.

03

License Enforcement

EvenTier validates license format, signature, edition, required claims, not-before date, expiry, organization binding, revocation state, certificate revocation list, and optional instance fingerprint.

After expiry, self-hosted deployments enter a 14-day grace period. Existing work can continue, but new agent seats cannot be added until a renewed license is installed.

04

Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by a signed agreement, customers may not copy, resell, sublicense, bypass entitlement checks, remove notices, or use EvenTier outside the licensed organization, plan, environment, or term.

Self-hosted license files are confidential credentials and should be handled through secure channels.

05

Renewal and Revocation

EvenTier may issue renewal licenses that preserve organization binding, plan, feature set, and seat caps while extending the expiry date.

Licenses can be revoked for contract, security, or misuse reasons. Revocation may be enforced through operator records, bundled revocation lists, or local removal of the installed key.

06

Open Source Notices

EvenTier includes third-party open source dependencies listed in the project package metadata. Those dependencies remain governed by their own licenses.

This page summarizes product licensing and does not replace dependency notices, customer order forms, or signed license agreements.

Need contractual detail or a signed addendum?

This summary is the public reference. Customers on annual agreements get the signed customer agreement, DPA, security addendum, and order form through their account team.
