Is the free tier really free forever?
Yes. Up to 3 agents you pay nothing: no card on file, no time limit. Same product as Standard, capped on agent count.
What happens at the end of the 14-day trial?
With 3 or fewer agents, you drop to the Free plan automatically: same product, same workspace. With more than 3, you choose. Add a payment method to keep every agent, or pick 3 to keep on Free and the rest become requesters. Requests keep flowing either way; nothing is deleted.
What's actually included on Standard?
Every product capability: SSO/SAML, SCIM, custom roles, multi-step approvals, SLA management, audit log, AI assist, API + webhooks, branded portal. Nothing is gated to a higher tier.
How do the add-ons work?
Audit retention and AI tokens are the only metered resources. Standard includes 30-day retention and 1M tokens a month. If you need more, you add capacity at a flat monthly price, not per agent.
What's the AI token policy when I hit the cap?
AI features pause until the next month. No overage charges, no surprise bills. Raise the cap any time with a bigger add-on bucket.
How many tokens will I actually use?
It depends which AI features you turn on: every one is off by default and opt-in. Agent-assist features (suggested replies, summaries, KB drafts) only cost tokens when an agent uses them, and an identical request is served from cache without additional tokens. The two always-on intake features, AI triage and sentiment, run on each new request once enabled, so their usage scales with ticket volume rather than clicks. The usage dashboard breaks consumption down by feature and projects your month-end total against the 1M-token baseline, so you can size a bigger bucket before enabling the always-on features at high volume. Similar-ticket search and weekly-insight clustering use no tokens at all.
Can I bring my own AI provider?
Self-hosted deployments run against three provider adapters plus any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, unmetered, on your own credits. SaaS uses EvenTier's managed provider with your plan quota. The self-hosted page covers the provider options in full.
